A couple of my buddies love to say he’s just at Alabama so it’s easy….same with Urban when he was at tOSU…sigh.

People don’t realize these guys literally put in every ounce of effort to be the best. Any advantage they can get, they will take.

I was really hoping Frost was similar….55 hours a week is a lot for the majority of the average working person…Saban and Meyers of the world….that’s not enough. 90+ hours, going over every piece of film on your opponents and your own team to make them perfect. No stone left unturned….including when the opposition throws a different front then you were expecting….you plan for that…..the elites do.

I honestly believe he came in with every intention and every ability to do just that. And I bet he did do that for a while. You can chalk it up to a million different reasons depending on your perspective, but whatever it was, it just wasn't in the cards.

I don't see Saban slowing down anytime soon unless he just gets tired of winning. He has the physical and mental stamina to keep this up despite his age.

The best coaches, are taskmasters that care about the details. TO was the same way. Once TO left, everything started to unravel as there wasn't that close attention to detail in S&C, how they managed practices, recruiting, development, game planning, etc.

Meyer was on the phone with recruits literally an hour after winning the National Championship

Frost heads to Gate 25 after losing to Troy
