Former Skutt legend and three time UNO national champion Todd Meneely has passed away. Was in a bad car accident overnight.

Todd was a mentor to a lot of kids over the years and leaving behind two sons of his own. His oldest, Truin, is an 8th grader and is an amazing wrestler himself. Current Husker Antrell Taylor was developed by Todd from his youth wrestling days and he is like a father to Antrell. I know he is hurting today along with a lot of people in the Nebraska wrestling scene.

Dammit thats awful. I'm not super in tune with the wrestling scene, but have heard his name a number of times. RIP.

Yah, he is on the Mount Rushmore of wrestlers out of state of Nebraska.

His father (with Todd’s help) built the Millard South program into a power.

The only interaction I had with him was when I was like ten and he was helping out a clinic when he was still in college.

I remember watching him as a kid going to duals at uno and seeing him win 🏅 in UNK.

I heard phenomenal things about him throughout the wrestling community.

Such a tragedy! He’s a few years older than my oldest brother and I couldn’t imagine losing him this young!
