Twitter Rhule showing G. Nelson some love

Things like this are what make me like Rhule. He never saw a snap of Nelson as a head coach but he still supports him, talks about him, and tweets about him.

Rhule could easily move on and never tweet about Nelson but he does and that to me shows he cares about Nebraska and the guys that have represented us.

Didn’t frost do the opposite with the Davis twins

This is what real leadership looks like. Rhule could have an ego here and say, "Why should I help him? He didn't help me." But instead, he looks to help Nelson and cheer him on. No ego, just service to those around him.

It's nice to finally have professional adults running our program.

The Davis Twins played 2 seasons for Scott Frost. You might be thinking of some other player who left after the 2017 season.
Frost ignored them. If I remember correctly they mentioned they had spoke with Scott only once or twice during their entire time on the team. Frost also didn't support them on Social Media or in person when it came to the NFL Draft. Didn't even have a team intern tweet out "Best of Luck" from an account. Like most Riley recruited players they felt like slighted outcasts or the redheaded step children.

And then Frost couldn’t flip the roster, like we thought he would, for better talent to replace them which makes it funnier in a way.

As I read through these posts one by one, and worked my way down to the last one (yours), it reminds me of why Frost was just a bad, bad, bad hire. It's inconceivable how petty and disengaged he was.

Kudos to Coach Rhule and his support of those that he doesn't even really know. Classy and professional.

I don’t know if Rhule will be the guy who turns Nebraska around, but we know he isn’t an arrogant tool like Frost. I think most of Frost’s staff were pretty decent people, but you can’t say the same for Frost.

100% agree. The PTSD in me doesn't allow me to thump my chest about Rhule.

And you're right, Frost had some good dudes working with/for him. Frost himself just wasn't cut out for this job. I'm going to try hard as I move forward to not bash the guy, because he will always be a Husker. So on that note, I hope he finds success somewhere else.

I really don’t care if Frost has success or fails in the future. Either way he has it better than 99 percent of people will ever have it.

This reminded me of an exit interview Deab did with Brandon Reilly. I believe the question was do you have any regrets or what would you change re your tenure as you graduate and move to the draft. His response was he regreted that he never really knew Scott Frost. Dude never took the time to get to know the players - even starters.
