Rhule was my number 1 guy from the time he was fired from the Panthers. But let's slow out roll here. At this point in Frost's tenure, he had just flipped Adrian and we were all amazed with him flying all over the country, working double time.

Besides having very good football IQ, Rhule has great EQ which you need as a leader of program like NU. Frost has decent football IQ and isn't a dumb guy, but lacks emotional intelligence. He can't read a room, folds when things get tough and is not an inspiring leader.

I don't know how many wins it will equate to but it's night and day when it comes to his leadership capability.

However, because of circumstances such as being a lured into being a frat boy, he was not able to lead. Rhule seems like he and his family are totally committed to his career path and will only have people on staff who of our like mindset. That thinking itself can be very bad in some circumstances, but typically means a cohesive group and progress. Nebraska is not done with the portal or recruiting yet let alone playing a game, but Rhule appears to be a man who does not run a half-assed program and at the very least has two stops in college to back up those facts.

I agree with most of this, but you make Frost sound like a victim of circumstances. the reality is that he was given free reign to run the program however he wanted for 4+ years and chose to be a worthless sack of shit.
