This^. The second half of that season we went 4-2. Imagine what could've been if it were reversed, and we were 4-2 in the first half of the season.
Momentum would've been on our side, and the want-to-win mentality. I'm not saying we would've gone 10-2, maybe at least 6-6 and got to a bowl game.
