Rhule copying Deion 🤣🤣🤣

Hard to make a more misleading headline. Rhule wants Nebraska to be relevant again same as Sanders, but the blueprint to get there couldn't be more different.
I thought I read somewhere that Rhule was wanting players who haven’t moved up the depth chart and see scenarios where they contribute to move on iafter their 3rd year here, similar to what GA is doing. Deion is basically doing the same, but banking on the portal more than true freshman to build his foundation and processing people who won’t contribute. The recruiting model has changed since the portal opened and remembered when Bo felt that he had honor scholarships for 4 years which created a lot of dead weight on the roster.

Honestly I'm not sure what Sanders is trying to do. He basically said at the beginning that he was going to get great players, not so much about development. Looks like he is going to depend on transfers as he only has 8 commitments this cycle and only 22 last cycle. It will be interesting if he can build and sustain anything relying on the transfer portal so heavily. Seems like it would be hard to build chemistry and team unity that way.

Agree, but then again, CU can’t get any worse then it was before he got there.

Keep in mind the SI brand means nothing anymore unfortunately, this writer isn’t an SI columnist. SI.com outsources articles now, the article is basically hosted by SI.com but it was written for “Fan Nation”
