Refs

We’re not fucked every game but I knew going into this one, it would be one we get fucked. This last football season didn’t have one that stood out to me but the year before, USC/tOSU’s outcome was manipulated by the refs.

Let’s not forget how it’s statistically impossible to not have a holding call for 6 straight game’s & northwestern accomplished it thanks to this league’s treatment of non-OG schools. It’s why dipshit fans of OG schools will always say “just be glad you got a seat at the table” & boy are they in for a surprise when the super conference hits cuz it is coming.

Might not be literally every game but it’s pretty damn close. It’s pretty obvious this conference has some sort of weird hatred for Nebraska imo

This is where I'm at. It's not every game, but the officiating is questionable against us the vast majority of time. Timing is important when it comes to officiating and game momentum.

The officials cleaned their act up in football when it comes to Nebraska - slightly. However, OG schools is who they protect. It'd be hilarious to see Indy win the B1G in football and Nebraska win the B1G in basketball for 5 consecutive years.

What would be better is if Oregon or USC won the B1G in football for multiple years on end. This conference has many self-righteous academic douches.

It’s our job as fans to bitch about the absolute travesty that has been the reffing in B1G basketball.

That being said, what I love about this team is they NEVER react in the moment.

They are incredibly mature. You can tell Fred has ingrained “control what you can control” and “next play” mentality and these old bastards have bought in.

On a few of the over-the-backs, no charge call on the game-deciding basket, and countless other occasions tonight, our guys took it on the chin, kept steady, and moved on.

In PBA, those refs wouldn’t have had the balls to blow those calls. And if they did, thy wouldn’t have had the balls to blow another.

Pissed we lost but proud of our guys.

Haven't gone thru the whole thread yet, but is it possible with Curtis' performance tonight that Fred will give him a little more of a role going forward?

Mast has been exhausted the last 2 games, so it'll be interesting if Fred rolls with Leo for 2-4 minutes each half.

I thought his confidence increased as the night went on. Happy for him that he was able to make a significant contribution, even if a bit clumsy.
