In the replay during the game you can tell he realizes the pass isn't intended for him and drops his hands.

I don't see a mistake. Ball was coming his way, so he went up after it, pulled his hands down when he saw it was well over him. Would expect him to try to make a play on it if it were within arm's reach.

I guess my point is that in a 3-0 game where we have struggled, if he had tipped that up and it got picked or it was incomplete it would have changed the game. That's part of knowing the play and knowing where guys are. According to Rhule that play is designed to pull everyone up and open up the back of the endzone for Banks. I was more surprised that he tried to get to that knowing he's 6'6 and has 7+ ft' wingspan and he could get to a lot of balls he shouldn't necessarily try and get to.

Its not about gophers.

I’ve killed 12 gophers since the end of July on my land. All one set and kill.
This last gopher has evaded me 7 times. Sumbitch.
Any tips?

I've never hunted gopher. I would imagine there's something you could put in a live trap then shoot them once their caught?
