Pray for me

The background picture in that interview slays me every time. Also, @huskermack my girlfriend is getting tested again because she feels symptomatic. I think It's like her 5th test so far and there was a press release that the local BIA hospital lost like 95 tests recently.
I got it last Wednesday. It’s not that bad. After the first 36 hours I was back to normal besides losing my taste and smell which happened about 5 days in.

Yeah that's kind of my feelings on it but I live in a 3rd world country where probably 1/4 of the people in my region do not have running water, multiple generations in a home, and pretty much every at risk indicator (diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, etc.). Hell tuberclosis, which is pretty much wiped out in first world countries, was running roughshod for awhile until Covid hit.

As in, she’s felt symptomatic and felt she needed the test FIVE times so far.....or she’s been tested for other reasons?

The biggest reason I thought I had it was because I don’t get headaches and fevers. I felt real sore that Wednesday morning, but didn’t have any other symptoms. I came home that night and got a fever and headache, so I got tested that Thursday. I had the results within 24 hours. I felt pretty decent by Friday. I was in good enough shape to work. The only thing that really sucks is losing the taste and smell which started yesterday. I have had worse sickness by far, but I’m also not that old. As the doctor said the older you get, the more problems you are likely to have.

Did they tell you when you can expect to regain your sense of taste & smell?
