Playoff Hockey

I need to find a way to like hockey more. I’m a Chicago sports fan. The Blackhawks were terrible this year but just by following the media, they have quite the young squad that could be pretty good in a couple years

Agree. I was huge Blackhawks fan when I lived in the midwest. They are going to be good soon I feel like. Have adopted the Hurricanes until that time. I don't full on love hockey on TV until the playoffs, but once the playoffs start I will watch and live is awesome!

Ive been trying to decide if I should be a Los Angels Kings fan or a Las Vegas Golden Knights fan

And I just can't decide

Season 8 Idk GIF by THE NEXT STEP

I’ve tried but can never really get into it for some reason. I go to Avs games out here in Denver sometimes and they’re a good time though

Hockey is so funny to me - I never watch a regular season game, but never miss a playoff night.

Edmonton is just insanely likable to me for some reason. Maybe just want to see McDavid get it done

Playoff hockey is just so intense. I love it. The Oilers comeback over the Kings a few nights ago was absolutely insane.

Go Vegas. Golden Knights gear is sweet, otherwise they might think you are in an LA street gang. Would need to get some black BK shoes as well.
Just can't do it. I've got a buddy - fellow hockey nut - that adopted LV as his 2nd team (he lives in FL close enough to regularly attend the Tampa Bay Lightning games). My fandom was cemented as a wee lad growing up between two Omaha Knights hockey players in South O. They were a Detroit Red Wings farm club IIRC, and that's who I "cheer" for (tho they're not great lately), but in reality I'll watch a good deal of playoff hockey regardless of who is playing simply because it's so intense. Great action in nearly every game ... because they MATTER!

Yeah, my fandom is cemented as a Blackhawks fan, but I love the Canes games. Super fun and have greats seats. Been in Carolina for six years and don’t see us leaving for awhile so I feel like they can be a legit second team. With that said, Hockey is the only sport I feel this way. Other sports teams are never changing or adopting a second team.

I love hockey! But playoffs haven’t been interesting to me for a while. Could be because my wings suck!

College is definitely better! Being in person is definitely the best.

Maybe I just have a problem with sports that play a shit ton of games

NHL playoffs (other than seeding and reseeding-although that’s debatable) are the most fun and exciting playoffs in professional sports. I never had a team growing up, but root for the Blues now, but I will watch every game I can of the playoffs. The effort and intensity is just greater than other pro sports IMO

I had no hope for the Wild entering the playoffs and then they gave me hope and then two straight OT losses ripped it away from me. Would like to see them make a real actual run at the cup someday.

Seems unlikely

The Las Vegas Golden Knights will always crush them and take their souls
