This will be hard to believe Tone, but This is the first thing you’ve ever said, that I don’t believe.
I bet for a handful of them it is true, but not nearly a majority

I'd be willing to bet the majority didn't really care for him. He never seemed engaged with them and certainly never seemed to draw their presence when something good happened.
I think they had respect for his authority, but I doubt many see him as a positive influence on their lives.

From people that know him, he wasn't a fan of Frost which was only compounded with the recruitment of his son. I don't have those deets.

Will look forward to the next round of excuses from our Swimtown former player clique on why they have problems with the 4th consecutive coaching staff. I’m sure it’ll be something about how they don’t connect with Omaha kids well enough, don’t show enough respect to the high school coaches, etc.
Then they’ll send their kids/players to Cockeye and Minnesota who show up in Omaha only when there’s a specific kid they’re after.

I think part of his resentment is because of the Phillips incident too. I've read where Frost was told to stay away from the girl several times to prevent Phillips freaking out about it.
