Ooof, that's rough. There's just no way to make it work longterm in this day and age. Soon we'll be left with a sports news industry full of Deans.

(not saying the OWH crew is all that great, but at least they have ya know, journalistic ethics and editors and stuff...)

That pay to read thing has really worked out well as a business model. Grats OWH. And the lib slant in a red state. Very intelligent

It has nothing to do with the World-Herald. It is the way the entire newspaper business is going. People don't get their news from daily newspapers anymore.

I live in the Detroit suburbs. The daily papers serving the Detroit metro went to 3 or 4 days a week several years ago. Newspapers in a lot of places are simply folding.

Some would say

Im as independent as independent can get. And at least to me its not hard to pick out the writers political ideologies in most articles.

Now not saying that makes for a bad news coverage, just saying it has definitely become a politically bias industry
