I would say 7 should be expected this year. I can get to 8 pretty easily iyam. The big thing is you need to take care of business against teams you have more talent than.

I see is going 1-2 in the toss up games and likely losing a game we shouldn’t.

SoS is based on the projections of how good they believe our opponents will be. Will be interesting to see where this moves to by week four.

This is me too. I’m in full “show me” mode with this team now and will expect almost nothing of significance from them until they show me they can actually play consistent, competent football.

I mean they are acc and I know they miss North Carolina and Miami.
Like their over under is 11.5. Which if you think they are hitting the under you might as well take UGA as the road dog with + money

so the teams wouldnt be ranked like 3-5-9-12-25 and sparty, nw, purdue?

I mean we might playing good teams but even those last 3 all seem like dogfights

We aren't very good as is, but our schedule is still very tough.
Makes for a bad combo.
We already lost one of our top 3 or 4 easiest games. From here on out, it's teams we probably have little chance of hanging with - basically 3 or 4 teams on our schedule we don't have much chance.. A few teams we should probably beat, but we haven't exactly been winning many of those games against teams we should be beating. "Toss ups" hasn't been our forte, either. Which is why Frost is at a 38% winning percentage. We lose, a lot.
OU, OSU, Michigan, Wisky and Cockeye right now are teams that are definitely above our level of current play, and several of them above our current team talent level. "Could" we beat some/any of them - sure. But the breaks would have to go our way and we would have to get out of our own way to boot.
