UConn would've been a 4 or 5 seed if they played a full Big Ten schedule. I won't deny that they are playing exceptional basketball as of late, and that's a testament to the development of Mullins. But they were not playing this well 4, 6, 8 weeks ago. Playing in the Big East allowed them to develop and survive.
As for St. John's, I'm still not convinced they ever beat a good team except for UConn.
