-Pass rush and tackling was fucking trash today. Hope that doesn't become a trend.

This was the weird part to me because we didn’t bring any pressure at all and were content to go with three or maybe four. I’m not concerned.

I admit I did not understand our defensive scheme yesterday.

• Brought no real pressure
• Soft coverage
• Missed tackles (not scheme related but odd)

Maybe we were worried about DeColdest and his ice-cold demeanor.

Game shoulda been 42-7 minus some trash calls. Ran the ball. Got the W. Weird rain delay.

A positive week despite some of the odd gripes from fans acting like we can just bank on wins at this point.

Hs has shown me enough to leave him in all year. But I ain't a football corch.

Lol.. I figured this was coming when I turned on the end of the Minny-Northwestern game. Maybe I should have said Cockeye and their 76 yards a 4 first downs instead. The point is, the BIG West is as weak as it's ever been. Every West game is winnable. Our D and a running game can work, even as limited as it is.

I think we were either working on a few things or we respected some of their scheme so we played soft a bit. The missed tackles were unusual and hopefully they just showed up.

This game really annoyed me. Like all the way up and down it was “annoying.” The difference between a game that feels like this and one in years past is the other shoe didn’t drop and I never felt we were gonna lose. I don’t want to be that guy and point to things that maybe aren’t there, but I think you might be seeing some “culture” and some different mentalities now with this program.

I can literally see in my mind how this game goes in years past.

1) We Dick around
2) We score
3) They score
4) Strip sack for opponent
5) Three and out on offense
6) Big play for opponent
7) We claw our way back and look to have “righted the ship” and go up 7.
8) We get a stop. The rout is on right boys?
9) We turn the ball over. Continue dog fight
10) Lose

It looked like we sleep walked through the first quarter and a half yesterday. It’s great that we were able to pull our heads out and win. That’s not always been the case.

Final note: Turner Corcoran is dogshit. We could set a refrigerator out there at his spot and get about the same out of it.

He was bad. Again. But Boerkicher (sp) was atrocious blocking vs La Tech.
