It's kind of nice though. There's no insane articles to read. No weird "this is our year" kind of press releases from UNL. No dumb fan polls about going 10-2 and making the CFP.

Just a zero hype offseason. It's a nice change.

A lot of that from last season was based off of how insanely easy our schedule was. No such luck next season

I'm seriously considering the possibility that the extreme dumb fuck hype may not come back this fall (this August).

People are pissed off to a level I really haven't seen. They seem resigned to the fact that Rhule won't get it done.

It almost seems bigger than Rhule though. It seems like NU fans are resigned that NO ONE can do it. Minus Curt Cignetti...but he is 1 in a million and we didn't hire him.

I think there's gonna be a lot of 6-6 and 7-5 predictions this fall.

Disagree with the NO ONE part.

It’s been blatantly obvious since the first game of 2023 Rhule was a loser.

Now we extended him and everyone on earth knows we have a lame duck in charge for the next two completely and utterly meaningless seasons.

Once he is tossed unceremoniously into the gutter where he belongs, the hype train will be appropriately untracked.

There’s just no way to get excited about anything that soft furry little bitch does or says when we all know we will have no chance when the games start.
