On the injury front, a group of Huskers aren’t expected to play. Receivers Oliver Martin, Omar Manning and Barron Miles Jr. are out and weren’t dressed for warmups. Martin missed last week’s game against Fordham while this will be Manning’s first game he’s missed—Manning was seen in a walking boot before the game. Tight end Travis Vokolek, sporting a heavily-taped left ankle, was doing some light conditioning drills with defensive lineman Casey Rogers, who was wearing a bulky brace on his left leg. Neither will play against Buffalo.
Other Huskers that weren’t dressed for warmups include defensive lineman Mosai Newsom, safety Noa Pola-Gates, tight end Thomas Fidone Jr. and inside linebackers Randolph Kpai and Mikai Gbayor.
>> Receiver Samori Touré was seen fielding punts alongside corner Cam Taylor-Britt in warmups.
>> The temperature on the field before the game nearly reached 130 degrees.
