We should be good enough to finish in the top 3 of the Big Ten and make the NCAA tournament.

Husker baseball nets four commitments

2024 infielder Dane Most: The 6-foot-2, 190-pound infielder is one of the top infielders in the state of Colorado in his class according to Perfect Game. The right-handed hitting Most helped lead Broomfield (Colo.) to a state title last season. Hit .451 with one home run and 23 RBI. Had 12 extra base hits on the season with a 1.197 OPS. Most has primarily played third base on defense.

2024 Johnston (Cockeye) INF Adam Kayko announced his commitment on Thursday night. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Kayko helped Johnston to a state title last summer and has shown big power from the left side of the plate.

2025 Olathe West (Kan.) LHP Ty Miller. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Miller pledge to Nebraska on Thursday evening. Miller was among the prospects who attended Nebraska's elite baseball camp in January. He throws a mid-80s fastball and mixes in a slider and changeup.

2025 Papillion LaVista LHP/OF Brett Hoelscher became the latest in-state commitment in the 2025 recruiting class. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder throws an mid-to-upper 80s fastball.

Are they supposed to not suck this year?
We shouldn't suck. We should be much improved.

Most people predict us to finish in the top half of the league. Some folks think we finish top 3.
