This is a major letdown spot for WiscyDicks. They spent 2 weeks prepping for Oregon only to get their heart ripped out of their bodies. They’ve beaten NU 10 times in a row and I venture to think nobody on the WiscyDicks side is really taking the threat of losing to NU seriously.

Nebraska is so close. We have repeatedly bounced back from losses to play extremely competitive games, especially with bowl eligibility on the line (7 of 8 losses in a row with 5 wins are by 1 score). We also are in a major revenge spot after last year’s game @ WiscyDicks.

Locke is terrible. Vadgers had 226 yards of offense against Oregon with less than 100 passing and ran for 3.8 YPC. They also threw a pick and had 8 penalties. This is the game for us to win and get back to bowl eligibility. They are essentially a slightly better version of Buttgers who we pretty soundly beat in 45mph winds and who had a better RB than anyone WiscyDicks has on their roster.

Nebraska HAS to get up early. If we can get up 10-0 or something along those lines (or 14-0 like we did against Buttgers) and make WiscyDicks have to start trying to throw against us that is a recipe for a Nebraska win.

I’m going with NU 17 WiscyDicks 13. I could see us scoring 14 in the first half and tacking on another 3 sometime in the fourth quarter and then holding on for dear life to get the win. WiscyDicks gets sacked driving to try to win and we knee it out and the place goes berserk.

Side note - I will be in LNK for this game, only game this year. Let’s get this W.

No way Rhule has three time outs in his pocket at the end of the game. There most likely would be important time outs taken like right before we take a delay of game penalty and punt.
