I guess it's draft week.

The most popular team in the universe Green Bay isn't picking until the second round so Thursday is largely about making fun of the other teams blowing their picks on awful players.

Some Qs:
1. Who you want for your team?
2. When's EJ go?
3. Any other draftees from the Big Red?

I would just like to go on record as saying that outside of the #1 pick that this draft feels completely unpredictable. We might see a number of teams make trades because lots of the teams with early picks actually don't need early picks but rather a higher quantity of picks and there are probably some contenders looking for a difference maker at the top who would be willing to give up later picks.

Shit could get wild.

1. Atlanta needs to go get ant QB better than Penix. But I'm not huge on any of these QBs, so I think they end up going to the OL for their first pick.

2. EJ will go 2nd round. Think Ameer.

3. Ceyair will get drafted. He was one of the biggest combine snubs. It'll probably be 6th round though. Maybe we see someone like Deshon or Lutovsky sneak in to the 7th, but thats essentially just locking down your UDFA early.

I love the draft just not too crazy excited about this year. Hoping to see some trade ups for Love or Styles to make the first 10 picks interesting.

My wild prediction is the Chiefs pick at 9, they take Conception or Ioane. Would be hilarious to see a guard in the top 10

Eagles fan here. I think they go OT in the 1st for their Lane Johnson replacement when he hangs it up in the next 1-2 years. WR in the 2nd round assuming they unload AJ Brown post June 1

Emmett I think goes in the 3rd .. 2nd would be great but I don't see it

Feels like Mahomes not dying would be good for them and I think you can get WRs over the next couple days.

It's a weird draft because it feels like 15-45ish as far as prospects are all over the map

Disagree. They want a big time OZ back who can house it. EJ unfortunately is not that. He's a dynamic and shifty runner but he's not breaking off chunk runs in college and that most likely does not translate to the NFL.

If/When Seattle drafts an RB.. it will be Price, Washington or Jonah Coleman. Schneider trends to drafting guys with big explosive play % and big yards after contact. See Charbonett/Penny/Walker. Price led the nation explosive run%. Coleman led the nation in '24 before being injured.

But hey. could be wrong but Schneider has buckets for positions and EJ doesn't fit at RB. We haven't even talked measurables. That's not to say they wouldn't draft him if the board fell bad for them, I would just be very very surprised.

I don’t think we’ll see any crazy trades in the top 10 picks. I don’t see any talent that a team sees as being trade-up worthy. Next year’s draft is much better so teams won’t want to jeopardize that draft capital.

I suppose you could say Tyson/McCoy but both have big injury concerns.

i dunno about 20+ yard plays. but his expl run rate in 2025 was 14.3%. compared to

Price 21.2%
Love 19.6%
Washington 18%

I think Dane Brugler only had like 14 dudes this year with actual 1st round grades. That's not to say there aren't going to be a lot of really good players in this draft, but not a lot of "locks"
