That seemed to be the way things were trending. Though at that time, Rhule was also happy with Satterfield as well. One thing about Rhule that I appreciate is that he does acknowledge the issues we seem to see. I doubt the secondary struggles are lost on him.

The shake ups already with Holgorsen made seem to point to him making some pivots from the staff's preconceived trajectories.

Would give Kirby a chance to break into the current premier conference as a HC in a few years as well. I think it’s a sensible move that makes sense for both sides.

Butler or Dvoracek could be fine, I don't know. Nothing in their background suggests they should be the next defensive coordinator (Similar to Satterfield). After Satt, you'd certainly hope we'd want someone with an impressive track record.
