Little red kool-aid for your Wednesday morning. Identifying info of source scrubbed and none of you know me, and thank God I don’t know any of you.

Fingers crossed basketball turns the corner soon. If we can’t have football, please God/Allah/Buddha/Oprah Winfrey give us SOMETHING.

One guy I’m interested in is Keon Edwards. I think he’s got a shot to be a solid contributor right away. I LOVE his high school film.

What’s interesting about him imo is he’s different than what we’ve recruited with hoiberg. Mainly a driver with a ton of athleticism…long guard. Could be an elite defender. If he develops his 3 point game look out. Super intrigued with him.

I was sorta curious if we backed off the Kansas transfer for him but never got great clarification on that.

While the Kansas Transfer was considered to be the best Athlete on the KU team last season he was not what we needed. He was a volume scorer, so basically a more athletic version of Teddy Allen. KU expected big things of him and he dominated in practices but it never really translated to the games. I would prefer not to have players who slow the ball down or don't play in the system. We have enough scorers now we don't need that streaky player to win us games. GBF
