My favorite thing about Nebraska football playoffs is in class C1 and smaller when schools very far away play.

Like most of these kids have never been across the state before. They are 14-18 years old and for public schools a decent chunk of the students aren’t from wealthy families that travel a lot. Not to mention if you’re a farm family you typically never leave the farm for too long because shit needs done. Some of these kids might never go to these towns or part of the State again but they will always have the memories and stories. (Personal experience for me with teammates who never really left shitty Southeast Nebraska but for trips for high school sports)

Last week we had a few good ones like Pierce going to Sidney, Howells Dodge going to Dundy County and Scottsbluff going to Elkhorn. You think a poor kid from ScoBlo is ever going to Elkhorn again? Probably not and seeing that school and how every single house is mega rich people probably blew their minds. Same with kids from Northeast Nebraska (Diet Coke Cockeye geography) going to Dundy County and seeing the Outback.

My 2 favorites this upcoming week regarding this topic:
Sidney (10-1) at Wahoo (11-0)

Hay Springs (7-3) at Parkview Christian (8-2)

lets pretend he’s like Wyoming Josh Allen right now and when he gets here he’ll turn into Sober Buffalo Josh Allen (not drunky turnover josh)

I bet turnover Josh was way more fun to hangout with.

I’ve only spent 1 night in Laramie but I spent it drunk banging a MILF that was 8 years old than me.

I’m a little buzzed right now or I’d make a good run the damn ball meme on the topic but anyways run the damn ball and women peak at 30-40

You would think they could at least score once with a QB and two wide receivers committed to Nebraska.
Kinda hard when the oline gives him no time to throw the ball.
