NCAA Wrestling Championships - Husker Wrestling

This brings up a question I had when I first heard this.

How do you graduate from the Air Force then go wrestle at Oklahoma State? Isn’t he obligated to, you know, go into the Air Force? Did he get a deferral to wrestle one more year?

First article discusses deferment.

Second article discusses US military academies not recognizing the covid extra season...

You get 4 years at the military academies. So no reason to do anything with Covid, There is no other option, there are no RS Seniors, no Graduate students no 5th year students. 4 years.

@BillButtlicker I went back and watched the replay in an attempt to better understand your point.

1st match entrance - nobody in the center of the mat waiting for their opponent.

2nd match entrance - nobody in the center of the mat waiting for their opponent.

3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th - ESPN didn't show the entrances of wrestlers. They came back from commercials and both guys were center mat to begin their match.

Heavyweight - different story. Gable was in the center waiting. And as Hendrickson was going up the steps, Gable started to approach him. This had nothing to do with Hendrickson circling the mat...
