Myles Brennan stepping away

I get how smaller NIL programs, like Cockeyes, will love this if it means the price tag comes down to their level but most likely lawyers are gonna make bank finding the loopholes.
Cockeye will never put a lot of stock in near term NIL $$. Their longer term value proposition is putting kids in the League.

U know what percent of each class gets into the league? I bet out of 25 kids ur looking at 2 at best so u can go & play at Cockeye for 10-15k, hoping ur 1 of those 2 or u can go to Texas Tech & enjoy an extra 60k

Looks like it is our year.... Lady luck is with us..
Not only that but with news last week that detailed the Casey Thompson's hand injury (it was worse than 99% of UT fans realized), it is clear that Nebraska got lucky with that one too. Meaning we (a 3-9 program) would not have gotten him if he didn't have that hand injury. He'd probably be at Ole Miss or Oregon or Oklahoma.

So we dodge the Brennan bullet and we got a discount on Thompson (which could pay off big time in 2022).

We were due for a little luck.

and now he's N and he's gonna lead Nebraska to an undefeated regular season, throw 40 touchdowns and 3500 yards no interceptions, and get picked int he first round of the nfl draft
