Minnesota -8 vs DONU

The last 3 games have all been decided by 7 points, and Nebraska had the lead or the game tied in the 2nd half of all 3 contests.

Sure seems like that number will come down to 6 or 7.

Different teams on both sides.

I am waiting to give any prognostications until halfway through fall camp.

You're right they are different teams. I can't see how Minnesota is better than a year ago considering all the talent they lost on defense, a new center and QB for the first time in 47 games, and a new offense.

On the flipside, is Nebraska better, worse, or about the same?

Frankly, I think Nebraska would need to be a LOT worse than a year ago to lose by a bigger margin, but I will listen to anyone who wants to make that argument.

Anybody have the point total for Neb v Min? Gotta be pretty low

Probably go under and stay away from the line.

Is either defense going to be good though? And Nebraska and Minnesota almost always play after mid October. What happens if the weather is actually nice, which will likely be the case on August 31st.

Minnesota has an elite DC. Their offense is very very average

Also Minnesota was the slowest playing team in the nation last year. Nebraska is going to play slow.

Under

Their defense as a whole was stout last year, but they had no pass rush. They also just lost Ibrahim, who holds Minnesota's career rushing yards and touchdowns records. Breaking in a new QB, too.
