He along with almost everybody else that could watch the kid knew that eventually if he wanted to play division 1 football....he'd have to stop playing quarterback.

Do we have a similar situation with Smothers? A d1 athlete but not a d1 quarterback? 6'2", 200 lbs., with his speed...is he a slot? A DB? I hate the talk about moving kids positions all the time, but is that something that is in the cards?

At some point with all these scholarships some kids are gonna have to jump ship or go as a walk-on. He’s probably one to jump ship.

I was out helping one of my drivers the other day and stopped on a driveway to checkout a Rolls Royce. Didn’t realize it was the McCaffreys. One of the kids (Max I think?) comes out and asks what I’m doing. Real pompous like
