JJ Spaun has been putting like shit all year. Turned it around one week and just won. Putting is a lot more variable week to week vs T2G.

If Cam Young hits it straight he is going to be in contention. Bombers can do well here if they miss in the correct spot.
This is true but a big reason his stats were negative last year is from a bad back 9 in rounds 1 and 4. From the most part he putted pretty good on the front 9 and in rounds 2/3. It’s also the only major played at the same course. Tons of information on the greens and easier to prepare for year after year. He has been putting terribly all year but he also won at a place he’s won before.
This is good info. And makes sense why guys like P. Reed, Willett, z. Johnson can win here. If your irons and short game are elite you can score regardless of how long you are off the tee. You’re going to miss greens, but can you miss in the right spot and get up and down. He hit a perfect second shot into 15.
