As a major recruiting weekend at Nebraska inches closer, Rivals has more on the buzz building regarding the Huskers.
Matt Rhule and his coaching staff have the
nation’s No. 7 ranked recruiting class and aim to build on it with these coveted targets and blue-chippers coming to soak in the Nebraska program.
“It’s an exciting time,” quarterback commit
Trae Taylor said. “Just need to figure a way to close these guys.
“But you know I’m going to be there for sure.”
Recruiting cap and all. Rivals had a ton of intel earlier this week regarding the ballyhooed prospects set to attend.
Read that here. Since then more talented players have chimed in.

Keysan Taylor has a keen eye on Nebraska.
“What excites me the most is to be able to see Coach (Roy) Manning coach up his guys in person,” Taylor said. “I’ve been up there before I’m ready to see how much progress they’ve made from last year. What stands out is what they’re trying to build over there with the 2027 commits.
“I’m pretty high on them.”
Nebraska is the leader for Locust Grove (Ga.) High four-star
Timi Aliu.
“I’m excited about the future of the Huskers, the grind, and just how invested they are in me,” Aliu said. He visited at the end of January as well. “What stands out is how quick I could be able to get on the field, my relationship with the coaching staff, and the greatness of Nebraska!
Another that visited at the end of January that’s quickly returning is Loganville (Ga.) Grayson defensive lineman
Waylon Wooten.
“What excites me the most is being able to watch the players run through drills,” Wooten said. “One of the main things that stand out to me is knowing that their coaching staff has the capability of developing me on the next level.”
Spain Park (Ala.) edge rusher
Marquis Evans is a major target for Rhule and his staff.
“I’m excited to see the intensity and passion they coach with, talking with them over the phone I know they are passionate and go hard with everything that they do,” Evans said. “They have continued to be persistent in getting me on campus so I’m definitely excited about the hospitality as well.
“What stands out to me is that they have coaches who have and can develop players.”
