Looks like Dylan may be hitting the portal again

Dylan probably has 2 more transfers in him before all is said and done.

He needs to find a scheme that fits him + a time machine that will transport him to an era that allowed for schemes with lead footed QB's. He won't find a better opportunity than what he had at NU.

That kid is getting paid 4 million bucks to redshirt in 2027. Oregon isnt starting an 18 year-old 5-Star over a 22 year-old 5- star with 20 career starts in the Big Ten.

Oregon is also the school that secured $6 million from Dante Moore which kept him from going to the draft when he would've been a sure fire top 10 pick.

If he’s a better player I bet they do

A true freshman will not be better than Dylan next spring or the following Fall. Kid might have way more upside, but he won't be better.

The Oregon program spends more money on back up QBs than Nebraska does on starters.
I thought Dylan took a pay cut to go to Oregon? Wouldn’t that mean we pay our starter more than they pay their backup?

He probably won’t be but I’m not sure Dylan’s gonna figure it out. Akili smith jr. might be next up anyways, in which case Dylan’s still not starting

Yes, but this really muddies the water for DR. Everyone already assumed Oregon would go to the portal next go around too. (unless they’re just blown away by DR or someone else on the roster I guess) Now he’s gonna be very likely competing with not just a transfer and/or anyone Oregon might return; add a 5* number 1 overall QB commit to the mix.

The freshman could start, it possible but I agree it’s unlikely. Either way DR’s odds of starting just went down.

I’m not sure I agree with the bolded.

Oregon has to be thinking at some point there luck with transfers is going to run out and they had an opportunity with signing this kid to buy themselves some insurance. He sits a year behind Raiola and he’s got a good shot at starting his RS freshman year.
