I didn’t know where else to talk about this so just started a new thread. Jokic is having possibly the best season of any NBA player ever and just completed the first 30/20/20 game in NBA history. He’s at 32 points, 21 rebounds, 22 assists. Absolutely insane.

Best part about Jokic is he truly does not give a fuck. He sees the NBA as a “job” and he dreads going to work just as much as the rest of us do. He just wants to go back to Serbia and train his horses.

When he first came in the league, he was hard to watch. He lacks the obvious athleticism of some of his peers, and wasn’t anything close to the technician he has been the last six or seven years.

Now he’ll just completely take over a game so quietly you don’t even realize it. He might have the best understanding of the game and how to impact it of any non point guard in history…..and he does it looking like a giant plumber.

He really is. Im not a big NBA fan, but he's insane to follow. There's good scoring centers, good on the glass centers, and good passing centers. Never has there been one that has all 3 to the level he has.

Huge Westbtook fan...but his triple double season wasn't very genuine IMO. Jokic is way more impressive. Sucks that it's also happening in the same year that Shai is crushing it too.

I was a Seattle Supersonics fan before they moved to OKC, so was also a big Westbrook fan. Both are athletic freaks.

I wasn’t a Russ fan until he played in Washington (I am a Wiz fan). I thought he was a joke but getting to see him play hard every play changed my opinion of him.

Still, he was chasing stats that year and his teammates boxed out for him to get those rebounds.

Joker is awesome. His passing is mind blowing. And he had that his rookie year. I remember Nurkic was a pretty good player for Denver and I thought they were insane to place their bet on the second year player, but Simmons did say when that trade went down that Denver thought Joker was an all NBA caliber player. They were right on that one.

Pre-injuries Bill Walton was probably the closest comparison.

I’m sure he’d rather be doing something else, but for a guy who allegedly doesn’t love the game of basketball, he sure plays the hell out of it.
