Colorado the toughest game of the 1st 7?
He saw utep right?
Klatt thinks that CU is Nebraska's toughest game in their first 7? I guess he could be right. It won't be tougher than at Indiana though. I expect IU to be good this year.

There's a chance CU ends up worse than Illinois, Rutgers and Purdue though too.

I think Buttgers is the toughest game in that stretch. They might be sneaky good.

No one will like hearing this, but while 7-0 is possible I think it’s equally possible to be 4-3 after that stretch.

L’s to Fat Burt, Buttgers, and 1 more to sCUm, Purdoodoo, or Indiana. Whichever one of those where DR decides to look like a true freshman.

I don't think the average NU fan followed what went on at Indiana. They hired a major upgrade at HC. And the guy's QB came with him IIRC so QB is going to be a major upgrade. Road game at IU will be a tough game.

Indiana would beat CU on a neutral field. So would Rutgers probably. Not sure about Illinois or Purdue.

I don’t know that if you hire an FCS coach in this league that you immediately pencil them in to be better year 1. I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying about them getting a good coach. I would probably say that pumping the brakes is best.

My point is that NU fans should pump the brakes about this dream 7-0 start. We could very likely be 4-3. I really hope that 3-4 is not an option but I suppose we could be 3-4. B1G teams are tough, even the ones at the proverbial 'bottom.'

5-2 is probably a win, heading into the meat of the schedule.

You're probably right. I think 5-2 is more realistic TBH.
