Oh and this:
Jaren Kanak announces de-commitment from Clemson after showing up in Oklahoma student database
BySAM MARSDALE 22 minutes
Former Clemson commit Jaren Kanak is enrolled as a student at Oklahoma. Kanak took to Twitter Thursday, however, and revealed that he decided to de-commit from Clemson but did not mention Oklahoma. After Brent Venables left Clemson to take the head coach job at Oklahoma, it was widely speculated that Kanak would flip.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God for the abundance of opportunities I have been blessed with,” Kanak wrote. "I want to thank Coach Swinney, and the entire Clemson staff for everything they have done for me, all the love they have shown, and the energy they invested into me and my family. After very extensive thoughts, prayers, and discussions with loved ones, I have decided to decommit from Clemson University. I have faith in God’s plan for me and with his guidance, I am excited to see what the future holds.”
Brandon Drumm of OUInsider reported Dec. 17 that the flip was only a matter of time. Drumm — who has now reported Kanak will be put on financial aid until Feb. 3, where he will then sign a letter of intent — said that Kanak has always made it clear he wanted to play for Venables because of his success coaching defensive players. Venables also molded former Clemson linebacker and Olathe, Kan., native Isaiah Simmons into a first-round NFL Draft pick.
A 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect, Kanak is listed as an athlete currently on the 247Sports database but is expected to play defense at the college level. Allen Trieu, a national recruiting analyst for 247Sports, has Kanak’s NFL comparison as New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis.
“Track guy who has run as fast as 10.37 at over 200 pounds,” Trieu wrote in his evaluation of Kanak back in July. “Multi-positional player in high school but future projection is most likely outside linebacker. Explosive player who has good burst, acceleration and obvious speed to pursue on defense. Ball skills he shows on offense should translate to defense where he should be a strong coverage backer if that is indeed where he ends up playing. Times his blitzes well, and when combined with his quickness, that allows him to penetrate and make plays in the backfield.
“He shows physicality as a blocker on offense which should translate to taking on blocks in college, although right now, we see him running free more on his high school film than needing to go through blockers. In general, there are few glaring weaknesses here, just a need to concentrate on one position and learn to play that spot. We assume he will easily add the weight needed to play linebacker but guys with his track speed and offensive background tend to be very successful in making that transition.”
A four-star recruit from the class of 2022, Kanak is the No. 252 overall prospect according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 10 athlete and top-ranked player from the state of Kansas.

LolAll we need to hope for now is venables to die and we have a chance
I’m pretty sure he IS on coke 24/7Does Venables looks like he’s on coke 24/7 to anyone else?
Darnay HolmesDidn't that happen to us sometime in the last decade? I wanna say it was Owa or somebody, but they showed up in the UNL student database and went somewhere else.
I'd be willing to bet she dances to polka music and pounds beers at the Czech festival in Wilbur.Karen Janak sounds like a middle school principal in rural Nebraska.
I see more meth with his look outside some missing teeth.Does Venables look like he’s on coke 24/7 to anyone else?
I don't think he liked doing Coke, he just liked the way it smelled. Coke and banging boosters wives/daughters was the rumor when he was at Kansas St. I doubt Snyder would have allowed him to be "Partying" all the time but I don't think he was afraid to clear his sinuses every now and then. Will be interesting to see what happens if Oklahoma ever plays KSU in Manhattan. He is not well liked by the people in the know there.I’m pretty sure he IS on coke 24/7
