I think I’ve got a Bonner

WR room is garbage so he's got a shot at PT
Yokozuna would have a shot at PT given our depth at WR.

Out of all underclassman receivers last year, he has by far the most potential. He’s fast, quick, and pound for pound pretty strong. He’s also got some DAWG in him.
What about Victor Jones? The recruiting sunshine pumpers always made it sound like we were fighting off several suitors to secure his commitment.

Bonner is significantly better than Jones. Or maybe I should say his raw ability and potential is a lot higher. His short range burst for his size is incredible. He was one of the top 2-3 fastest guys on the team last year. Redshirt was decided pretty early (playbook, blocking, route running, all need refined).

Big bodied guy, did make a few highlight types of plays I saw.

Mickey (pre Frost firing) told me he has a ton of talent, but the effort and attitude needs addressed to tap into that talent. You could tell Mickey believed in him. To me he didn't look as smooth or fluid as some of the older guys. Mickey usually had him do over reps within routes with QBs or in WR drills to address the effort part. Sometimes I think guys know their fate of not playing that season so they go through a lot of motions just to get through the year.
