Notes

- This is the eighth time Ohio State has been named the preseason favorite since the inception of this poll 14 years ago. It's been so all but once since Ryan Day became head coach in 2019, placing second in last season's preseason poll.

- Ohio State also only received only first and second place votes

- Michigan's lone second-place vote came at the expense of Oregon

- Washington received votes ranging from 4th to 16th and came in at No. 10. Fellow newcomers from the West Coast USC and UCLAbia finished 6th and 15th, respectively.

- Purdoodoo was the only team not to receive a single vote higher than 13th. However, Indianus -- who finished 17th -- received 44.4% of the last-place votes

- While only two teams received first-place votes, five different teams received a last place vote

Boy aren't they gonna feel silly in November when 👑 Rhule is the HEAVY favorite for this...

I went super heavy on Cockeye season win total overs, they were 7.5 a couple weeks ago. But that's more about their schedule and history of not having less than 7 wins the last decade.

This.

Schedule matters and Cock Eye consistently receives an easy schedule. I think they'll win 8-10 if their QB transfer stays healthy...think I just puked in my mouth.

They're more injury proof this year with a backup that will throw for more than 70 yards if needed. Schedule is probably the easiest in the conference. I would be shocked if they don't win 8+

Probably about right. Safe place to put them.
Agree. Of course, I have hopes we'll finish higher, but that is about where I thought they'd put us. Actually, I wouldn't have been surprised if they had us a notch or two or three lower.

Top 4 probably correct, but the next 4 teams could be any order.

Thank you for posting this @Alum-Ni. Always interesting to see where others see your program, even idiot journalists.

Which to their credit they've consistently had solid O-lines.

Anybody sick of my Cock Eye love in this thread yet? I certainly cannot believe I've said at least 2 positive things about those assholes in one thread....in 24 hours.

I’m going to enjoy watching USC get their asses kicked in the Big 10 and never hear about Lincoln Riley again
