I do think their Special Teams Efficiency rating is damn near perfect on FPI. Huskers are up to #38 in that metric, after hovering in the 120s the last 5 seasons.
I don't know how the rest of the season will go, but I will say I'm a bit more optimistic than usual given that we have decided to quit forfeiting 1 of the 3 phases of the game

Ekeler’s got old man balls on him. Full on bat wing scrotum.

And it’s resulted in Barney feeling embolden to catch the ball on the five and run it out to the 50.

ESPNs win probability for our remaining 10 games has us favored in all but two games - USC and PSU

Those should update once we’re undefeated headed into USC

I think the Huskers will probably trip over their dicks once or twice before USC, and I think USC will find it difficult to be make it unscathed through road games at Illinois and Notre Dame.

But God Damn, can you all imagine the FUCKING atmosphere for that NBC night game in Lincoln on November 1st if USC and Nebraska are both undefeated?

Honestly, with Penn State playing at Ohio State earlier on FOX and USC at Nebraska in that type of game at night, the Big Ten could officially overtake the SEC.
