Anyone got any good ones? This also includes potential what if scenarios also. Mine is personally I believe that former OC Troy Walters was one of the better OC's we have had in recent memory and was underrated. The thing was, the incompetence of Frost's playcalling made him the scapegoat and he was fired. Look what he is doing in cincy right now, top coach.

Dylan Raiola is an above average, not elite, QB. I get that he’s just had one year here, but his CPU didn’t seem to process stuff quickly last year. He held the ball a looooong time.

One of the pregame signs I saw - IIRC from a Purdue student - simply said, “Dylan lets it crust”.

When I was done laughing my ass off, I thought, “Shit. He’s right.”

I hope I’m 1,000% wrong here, but you asked for hot takes, and this one’s mine.

Tom Osborne was the driving force behind our success from 1970-1997, and he was the driving force behind our decline from 1998-today
I don't know how people come to this conclusion. We got worse each time he left in an official capacity, and got better when he came back.

He's been an easy boogeyman for when things go wrong and others were in power, but that feels like scapegoating. Nebraska got Ws when Osborne was in a position of power. Other coaches and ADs not getting it done is primarily on them.
