Bravest incident for me happened when I lived off of Troost St in KC, which was the Ghetto at the time. Heard a woman crying bloody murder behind my house one night so I ran out the back door. Couldn't tell how many people but heard a booming male voice that definitely belonged to one of the thugs in our hood. All I could see was down at the street a silhouette against a light in the distance of a fist raining down blow after blow on someone. Yelled "Leave her the fuck alone Motherfuckers", best I could come up with. My gun was upstairs and I didn't feel I had time to get it. So barked at my roomie to call the police and I grabbed a Hockey Stick we stashed by the door and ran out there. Had no idea how many people were out there but luckily was only 1 guy. He let her go and she came running to me. Before he got into the car and drove off he screamed "You tell anybody bitch, you dead".
She was worked over pretty badly and really shaken. Couldn't stop crying or speak. Cops/Ambulance showed up. Turns out she was driving home and saw this guy walking down the street. She knew him as he lived close to her so asked if he needed a ride home. He got into the car and was hammered drunk. Physically forced her to pull over to a dark spot on a side street and was assaulted her as he was trying to rape her. Cops nabbed him with her car later so not only was he charged with Assault/Battery/Attempted Rape but also with stealing a car and drunk driving.
