Can Scott Frost learn? He hasn't up to this point. Has Turd been able to get through to Scott and help him realize that we can't continue to commit the same mistakes? Here is a list of things I hope we don't see because we have fixed them.

1: Musical chairs at RB. I don't want to see a new starter every week along with a nonsensical rotation based on.....well nothing discernable. Hopefully we will see a starter followed by others with an established role. Let's hope the rotation we have seen recently left along with Held.

2. The famous droopy sad Frost demeanor. Scott's body language and behavior have been discussed. I don't like his routine at press conferences but largely don't give a shit about that. But in the games, on the sideline, the guy needs to not be a downer. At first sign of struggle Scott goes into his pissing and moaning act. I'll tell you now, it affects the team. He is the leader and the players look to him, if his arms are crossed and he is wailing into the refs ear then the players see defeat on his face. It's negative energy. Tom didn't do that stuff, he was stoic. Scott needs to give the appearance of a strong leader who is the team's rock. I don't like Fleck but his players a look to him and pick up that good energy he is showing.

3: Special teams confusion. STs have killed us for years, it wasn't just last year. Fix it, Scott. It shouldn't take 5 years to fix. No further explanation needed.

4: I don't want to see a walk on, back up, practice hero WR until we are late in the 3rd quarter of a blowout. I don't need to see Liewer drop a 6 yard out on 3rd and 7 ever again. If I see it in the 1st half of the NW game I might pull my hair out. It's obvious that Scott had some favorites that he made sure got into the games early and it needs to be a thing of the past.

The notion that Nebraska has played white walk on receivers due to favoritism is a stretch. The bigger criticism should be affixed to terrible receiver recruiting since 2018. That left them in a situation where theyve been forced to play some dudes who don't belong in the Power 5.

I don't want to watch Wyatt Liewer play either. But when half your scholarship receivers are worthless, and dudes like Betts or Manning rarely finish a practice, you don't have a lot of choice. When Mickey Joseph arrived, he was disgusted by the group which awaited him. He heaped praise on Belt because Belt doesn't complain like Manning. He doesn't act like an elitist like Oliver Martin. And he isn't afraid of contact like Grimes. Alante Brown has an exceptional work ethic and attitude, but injuries delayed his ability to learn the position.

I would like to see us actually be able to run the ball when we need to, so we can put a game away. I would also like to see us be able to stop the run consistently. We did better last year, but still weren’t great. The other two things are playing quality special teams and a qb who can take care of the ball.
