Rick Shaw is good for one, great thing: He was a writer on the site back when Callahan was just a punk kid. You can tell Shaw still sort of views Callahan that way, and it frequently comes across in his posting. It's a lot of fun to watch, because you can tell it irritates Callahan a decent amount (as it would me), but I don't think he quite feels right telling him to STFU on the board.
That being said, it seems like he clearly fucked up in issuing the gripe in that thread and then tried to act like he knew about Gottula being '23 along. Looks like they nuked the whole section, and I can't say I blame them.
