Didn't Goldman have a few other P5 offers?Seems like we're offering some instate guys that we normally wouldn't to help mend relationships with local coaches. Could help land the big fish in the next few years.
Kansas, K State, Mizzou and Vandy.Didn't Goldman have a few other P5 offers?
If we are going the symbolic route of fixing relationships, I’d go with year one is the best time for that. Not sure otherwise. In the famine times we'd be lucky to have 2 in state kids worth taking.. is taking 10 a good thing?
as long as our S&C and pharmacological programs are up to speed we could probably take 7 or 8 in-state kids a year and turn them into legit P5 playersIn the famine times we'd be lucky to have 2 in state kids worth taking.. is taking 10 a good thing?
I believe Okie St too. Great kid, smart will work his ass off and turn into a barbarianKansas, K State, Mizzou and Vandy.
Correct. Our fans are very stupid. Get it - they don’tI’m not mad about in-state OL/DL. Cockeye and Wisconsin have put a lot of dudes like that into the league. They’re also more likely to have a lot of loyalty towards the program and should be good additions to the locker room.
They seem to know they've gotta throw a lot more bodies at the problem than the last two staffsI think the O line and interior D line depth has to be built with 500 mile radius guys. That doesn’t mean you don’t recruit stud OL/DT from other places but both positions require a lot of bodies.
We have seen other regionals teams have success doing this.
I like state champions. I know he didn’t get one this year - but if your taking flyers it helps when they are used to winningI believe Okie St too. Great kid, smart will work his ass off and turn into a barbarian
I don't know what's been in the water lately, but been a good amount of talent in the state the last couple years. We will probably finish this class w/ 8 Nebraska guys (all who have P5 offers) and that's with a guys going to Oklahoma, Cockeye St. and Ok St.If we are going the symbolic route of fixing relationships, I’d go with year one is the best time for that. Not sure otherwise.
thank god they realize that's needed. the test is going to be 2-3 years down the road when it's time to process some of the guys who don't developThey seem to know they've gotta throw a lot more bodies at the problem than the last two staffs
