The disdain from many on Raiola is a bit over the top.
I’ll admit it Tone, it was a bit tongue in cheek, but you are spot on here.
Why would you expect the disdain to go away when 99 percent of people on this board wanted Raiola fired at the end of the season.

If you're reading some of this shit.. you can CLEARLY see the people whose opinions are not based in reality. They are based on video game bullshit. My concern is that Rhule will not be given the benefit of the doubt, in the eyes of public opinion. All the while completely disregarding the fact that Frost's work ethic is absolute DOG SHIT. There is no way to know with any amount of certainty that Rhule will work out.. BUT, he has already shown to have more oversight and a better work ethic than the last guy. Which puts his odds of success way ahead of Frost's.. and yet people are still going to make their minds up, *A WEEK IN*

I’m tired of fucking “hoping”. Why not go out and hire proven dudes so we don’t have to “hope” anymore. It’s like recruiting a bunch of 2 & 3 stars, sure you’ll hit on a few of them but never enough to have sustainable success.

I wanted Frost when he came in and lost faith in 2019. Frost brought an inexperienced crew with him and looking back it was his first major mistake. That’s why I’m worried about the Rhule hires to a degree. There is no way in my mind Rhule will suck as bad as Frost, but it’s going to suck if we are a 7-type team in year 4.
I’m no Raiola apologist, but I’m a huge Rhule fan, so I trust he sees something in Donny. Great breakdown by @slattimer earlier today on the type of offense and run game Rhule will likely implement. Seems like a better style and fit. Feel like there was conflicting styles in the offense with Frost’s vision and Whipple. Donny had to be conflicted as well. I think Rhule will clarify that and we’ll begin to establish and identity… finally. It’ll take time and Rhule will get it.

Not every problem is solved with a "big name" at every position .... sometimes you have to just hire a top HC and trust that he'll figure it out.
