We are so close to the season starting so I must assume that 1st and 2nd string has largely be settled and guys are being prepared by the coaches for what gameday against NW will be like. Here are some dudes that we have heard next to nothing about and probably aren't in the plans for this year (or ever) I'll keep it sophomore and above since it's a little unfair to take a redshirt freshman and expect a bunch from them.

CB Braxton Clark
DB Tyreke Johnson
OL Michael Lynn
DL Mosai Newsom

The only thing I've heard about Lynn is that maybe he is injured and might go on a medical. Seems like the best thing Tyreke Johnson has ever done is get rated 5 stars in high school. I feel pretty bad for Clark because he seemed to be a baller that has just been totally derailed by injuries. Newsom may have been a stretch as a recruit in the first place but that's how it goes sometimes.

I feel like Clark and Newsom might get a few snaps this season, but agree that it looks like neither will ever have a major role here.

Had high hopes for Tyreke Johnson. Not sure the last time Fischer mentioned his name. Might be in the Witness Protection Program.

That's good news for Clark. But the writers sure aren't spilling any ink writing his name in many reports. I remember him making some plays here and there that made me think he could grow.

Same feelings with Clark. He has shown glimpses of being a great player, but just can’t catch a break.

Clark has been talked about often as possibly having the starting spot over Hill.

Johnson was mentioned a couple times a week or two ago.

Someone mentioned Lynn is going on medical, but I don't remember who.

Newsom had some mention just last week.

All 4 have been talked about at some point during camp.

Please take this conversation to the paranormal board. RN over there they are currently discussing how Alante Brown is still a sophomore. Truly an unexplained phenomenon since it feels like he's been here since Tanner Lee.
