Sign Up Now!We need a deep threat yes, but Kemp will be the get you 8 yards on 3rd & 7 kind of guy. There's great value in slot guys that can get open in pockets and keep the chains moving. That was actually Palmer's weak point. Fidone can help with this too.I think Kemp will have a pretty solid year. Probably not a Palmer kind of year, but I think he'll be dependable. I'm thinking Kemp and Washington will be a good duo.
I thought the same.... 🤞I say this while admitting I know jack shit judging OL play.
But Benhart…seemed to play…pretty well. *ducks*
If any of the combination of those three you mentioned can become a deep threat, then we can throw a lot at the defense. We need a deep threat yes, but Kemp will be the get you 8 yards on 3rd & 7 kind of guy. If Sims can be accurate in these 7-20 yd passes we can be really successful.
I'm hoping Betts or Coleman or Fleeks can develop into a deep threat. That'd be a bonus.
I'm not sold on Washington. Seems super inconsistent. I'm hoping that Betts can continue to step up and and bea guy for us. He certainly has the highest ceiling.I think Kemp will have a pretty solid year. Probably not a Palmer kind of year, but I think he'll be dependable. This is damn near spot-on. Completely agree.Positives: Sims, RBs 1-3, Bonner, Kemp, the starting OL not named Corcoran, Nash, Wynn, Princewill, Lenhardt, Wallin, Noonan, Stenger, Sherman, Collier, Syncere, Hartzog
Negatives: All QBs not named Sims, Ajay, Emmett, Gilbert, the OL beyond the top guys, Borders, Bleekrode, the general sloppiness from the backup units, the lack of playmakers at WR beyond the top 2-3.
I honestly don't get the Purdy hate. He got royally fucked by his WRs today IIRC. There were 3 drops he had that were passes that were right on the money. They catch those and they move the chains, etc.Negatives: All QBs not named Sims
The Scott Frost Golden Tee Lounge.Jesus. Some day we are going to have to name a buffet table after Frost, aren’t we?
The QBs weren’t very accurate but the WRs also weren’t doing them many favors. I hope Casey gets healthy as there were a lot of passes I think we see Thompson nailing.Drove up for the spring game, luckily got in a suite after sitting a quarter in the south end zone. Brr
Worried about this team up front and not sure if there’s a receiver that can get vertical and separate. Gonna be a tough year.
