Free Wings on Dean

I went last night and said Huskers to the waiter. The waiter said some awkward bald overweight guys came and cleaned out all the wings a few hours earlier. I asked if it was this guy and she smiled and walked away. Thanks Sean!

I’ll be honest, about ten years ago I would go to Applebees weekly to play trivia, get smashed on drafts of PBR and go ham on their half off apps…..including their boneless wings.
We used to pregame at club apple. All their drinks were buy one get one free in FL. Not sure if they still do that haha

When I was a kid, we would drive over an hour on saturdays to do our weekly stockup on groceries in North Platte. (side note, i spent an embarrasing amount of time being confused on whether the citys name was North Platte or Walmart, because the big weekend trip was always "going to Walmart") Although we often got our supper at Mcdonalds or Arby's, my rich friends parents would eat at Applebees. When our family finally ate there, I thought that was the definition of fine dining. Fiesta Lime Chicken was mindblowing. Through my teens, Applebees was a premium dining experience for us poor western ne folk. Now I can't remember the last time I've been to one. It's just microwaved food off the Sysco truck.

Some days I wish I could appreciate things as simple as Applebee's like I did as a kid.
