Is Jeff Simms the worst QB add in the history of the world for a player that actually had lot of experience? Lots of people blaming the coaches for bringing in Simms. Which has been a terrible add, but how could they have possibly anticipated how garbage he would be this year? My unscientific method to show how bad he has been is to extrapolate his numbers to Husker QBs numbers of the past.
2021 Adrian Martinez - 189 completions 2863 yards passing 14 TDS, 10 INTS
Simms at 189 Completions - 1134 yards passing, 7 TDS, 41 INTS
2017 Tanner Lee - 246 completions, 3143 yards passing 23 TDs, 16 INTS
Simms at 246 completions - 1476 yards passing, 9 TDs, 54 INTS
2019 Joe Burrow (OAHAAH) - 402 completions, 5671 passing yards, 60 TDs, 6 INTs
Simms at 402 Completions. - 2412 passing yards, 14 TDs, 87 INTS
This isnt even taking fumbles into account.
