Is Jeff Simms the worst QB add in the history of the world for a player that actually had lot of experience? Lots of people blaming the coaches for bringing in Simms. Which has been a terrible add, but how could they have possibly anticipated how garbage he would be this year? My unscientific method to show how bad he has been is to extrapolate his numbers to Husker QBs numbers of the past.

2021 Adrian Martinez - 189 completions 2863 yards passing 14 TDS, 10 INTS
Simms at 189 Completions - 1134 yards passing, 7 TDS, 41 INTS

2017 Tanner Lee - 246 completions, 3143 yards passing 23 TDs, 16 INTS
Simms at 246 completions - 1476 yards passing, 9 TDs, 54 INTS

2019 Joe Burrow (OAHAAH) - 402 completions, 5671 passing yards, 60 TDs, 6 INTs
Simms at 402 Completions. - 2412 passing yards, 14 TDs, 87 INTS

This isnt even taking fumbles into account.

Some of these numbers don't seem right OP. Especially the interception numbers.

I was raging very hard when he came into the maryland game and he did what I knew he would do.

I’d be interested in seeing the same thing but based on attempts rather than completions!

Seriously, how did he shit the bed yet again? I thought, here we go...he's going to lead us to three consecutive TD's, and he's our starter the next two weeks and we go 3-0 in our last three. Ha ha!

I was sort of hoping that, but just SMH on the 1st turnover.

This is wild. Thanks OP.
I confirmed a few of the numbers including the 87 INTs. Attempts is probably a better measure than completions as @huskerj12 said but it's going to look unbelievably bad any way you slice it. For anyone wondering this is his numbers at Nebraska only, not his career numbers.
