Not necessarily. I don’t see what age should have to do with it. It’s not rap. (Though at 44 you would have grown up with 90’s rap so I don’t even know if age would be a reason not to like rap or if that’s even what you meant.)

If anything it’s a little corny, pun partially intended. It’s all about how he loves Lincoln and Nebraska. It’s not going to crack the country or pop charts, but it’s worth a couple minutes listen, to satisfy your curiosity if nothing else!

I basically only listen to sports talk, murder/mystery podcasts, and solid gold country. I'm 44 but have the musical tastes of a 64 year old.

I can't believe I just typed something that would suggest country is better than rap... Just to clarify, I am speaking only about the laughably bad gen z rap that has taken over much of the genre. You would think at least some of these damn youngsters would be taking cues from Kendrick or even Chance The Rapper but they're all just doing the rhythmless mumbly auto-tuney bullshit.

Anyway nice job Emmett at least he's going for something a little different.
