Hmm. Seems odd that Iow.a would deserve 10 times as much royalties as Nebraska. Good thing for them they used AP ranking finishes and not TV ratings, which I think would be more directly related to game sales.

And is this just for payments to the schools that is separate from payments to athletes? I thought I read each athlete featured got $600 and a free copy of the game.

I believe it’s just what will be paid to schools. I ready recently it’s still $600 per player. Not sure if cover athletes get more or not.
