Obviously David Lose from SDSU would be the logical next name to look at. If Rhule decides to take a bigger swing though, who are some other names out there?

If we’re talking possible home runs, I’d love for Rhule to look at Bo Davis. Former LSU, Bama, and Texas DL coach, currently coaching for the lowly New Orleans Saints.

This whole DL coach situation so far irritates me. Honestly, I don’t even know what our assistant coach pool is but I’m reading Arizona state’s is going to be $11 million. And I don’t give a fuck they were in the playoff last year. It’s fucking Arizona state in the big 12 FFS. You either go out there and start taking what you want or you are going to continue to be shit.

Maybe go try and hire Esposito from Michigan since they are a complete shit show right now. (Assuming that he can keep from embarrassing himself for more than 5 minutes like everyone else from that dumpster fire.)

According to local sports here in Phoenix, the $11m is for total staff. It is not just coordinators. It includes all staff

His rep is that he is one of the all-time great recruiters. LSU fans FWIW say his lines there couldn't block very well.

Only time he ever worked/lived outside of the south was two years with the Lions - who play indoors. He went to LSU, you have to wonder how much to would cost to get him to Lincoln and out of southern Louisiana.

He made $1.25M with LSU so I am guessing the Saints pay more. I bet we'd have to give him $1.7M. He'd almost certainly be the second highest paid coach on the staff if he came.

I doubt he has a one year deal with the Saints; he may not be able to come.
